You keep 85% of every sale or rental. The remaining 15% funds platform maintenance and the reader rewards pool that drives discovery. Cash out to USD via Stripe anytime.
Price Protection
You set the absolute price floor. Reader demand can drive your book's price up (earning you more per sale), but it will never drop below the baseline you define.
How the economy actually works
Veldt solves the indie author "discovery problem" by paying readers to read. Here's the loop:
You set a floor price
Let's say you upload your book and set the base price at roughly $4.00 USD. That is your floor.
Readers buy and review
Readers purchase your book. When they finish it and leave a quality review, the platform rewards them with $BOUND tokens out of our central treasury. You do not pay for this — we do.
Good reviews drive up price & visibility
If the community consensus is highly positive, our algorithm gradually increases the price of your book (e.g., from $4.00 to $6.50). You earn 85% of this higher price on all future sales. The book also moves to the top of the "Rising Now" charts organically.
No marketing budget required
In traditional publishing or Kindle Direct, you have to run ads to find readers. On Veldt, the readers are already here, actively looking for undiscovered gems because they earn highest rewards for finding quality books early.
